Course Outline

This final course turns knowledge into consistent professional practice. Through five focused sound exercises, you will strengthen the technical and creative skills developed across the programme. The lab gives you space to practise, experiment, make mistakes and improve through repetition—building greater confidence, precision and independence in your work.

Learning Outcomes

You will learn how to identify common post-production problems, select the right tools and workflows, and explain the reasoning behind your decisions. You will strengthen your skills in dialogue editing, audio cleanup, ambience matching and seamless transitions while developing professional habits in session organisation, versioning, quality control and final delivery.

Learning Methods

You will independently complete five practical sound post-production exercises using professional tools. Each task focuses on a specific technical or creative challenge, such as cleaning noisy dialogue, matching ambiences or building natural transitions. After every submission, you will receive individual mentor feedback and use it to analyse, revise and improve your work through a structured process of repetition and refinement.
