Course Outline

Explore how AI and emerging technologies are transforming professional sound production and post-production. You will work with new approaches to dialogue restoration, source separation, sound enhancement, AI-assisted Foley and ADR, while also discovering immersive and interactive audio for VR/AR environments. The focus is not simply on operating new tools, but on knowing when and why to use them. You will learn how to evaluate results, recognise artifacts, preserve performance integrity and make responsible creative and technical decisions.

Learning Outcomes

You will learn how to design AI-assisted workflows for dialogue, sound enhancement and immersive audio while maintaining naturalness, continuity and professional quality. You will also understand how emerging recording technologies influence every stage of post-production and the final soundtrack, enabling you to make better-informed decisions and manage the entire process more effectively.

Learning Methods

The course is delivered through intensive in-person sessions in Dubrovnik and online, combining mentor-led lectures, live demonstrations, practical projects and critical listening sessions. You will restore a dialogue scene, examine an ethical AI and ADR scenario, and create a short spatial atmosphere for a VR/AR environment.
